OC-Gulf Driller V-H1293 Project Experience Sharing Session was held at Long Kou

    OCEAN CHALLENGER Company (OC) invited ABS, Gulf Driller V-H1293, H1284&H273, H1300 project team and other related persons to attend the Gulf Driller V-H1293 project Experience Sharing Session at Long Kou on 29^th June and 6^th July separately.

    According different specification and from the aspects of technology, process of production, supervisors of OC summarized weaknesses seriously. And from the cost control and the elimination of security risks and other key areas, the use of different examples to share with project members the various problems found in the process of monitoring and Solutions this session was appreciated by all participants. Also, it will leave good reference for following projects.

    After the session, hotly discussion happened, everybody feels that they study a lot form this session, and they said it is good for them to use those experiences in their own related work, prevent same problems happening again.

    Self-elevating drilling platform is the main product of CIMC RAFFLES it has been delivered 9 so far. Gulf Driller V-H1293 project is the second self-elevating drilling platform which has been fully participated by OC. During its progress, all supervisors of different aspects draw lessons from H212, H211 andH213, putting forward the possible problems at once and presented solution. Under positive cooperation of shipyard, the quality of Gulf Driller V-H1293 project improved greatly. Moreover, OC supervisors have got lot of valuable experience form process of supervision. As the self-built project supervision, through this kind of sessions, OC people hope that accumulated experience could be shared and inherited. For the prospect of self-built platform, it can improved continually which could reach the international first –class level.
